Uniting Europe and North Africa for Modern VET
The CobotsVETMed partnership brings together a complementary mix of organisations from four countries—two from the EU (Italy, Romania) and two from the Southern Mediterranean (Tunisia, Algeria)—ensuring a balanced partnership that aligns with Erasmus+ Capacity Building in VET (CBVET) priorities with expertise across technology, education, and industry. Through close collaboration, the partners will design and implement innovative curricula and practical training environments that integrate collaborative robots (cobots) within universities and VET centres in Tunisia and Algeria, ensuring strong alignment with labour market needs and Industry 4.0 priorities.
ICEBERG PLUS SRL
ICEBERG PLUS SRL is a Romanian based consultancy company, with 14 years market experience. Focused on digitalisation, innovation and technology transfer. ICE is the Romanian EIT local desk, as of 2025, covering all EIT verticals in the region and has a strong experience in establishing three winning Romanian Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) from the European DIH Network, as well as delivering technical assistance to several DIHs in a variety of geographical contexts, including the Balkans (Bosnia-Herzegovina), and West Africa (Nigeria). Ecole Nationale Polytechnique (ENP)
The Ecole Nationale Polytechnique (ENP) is the first high school of technology created in Algeria. It is placed under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. ENP is an institution of excellence for higher education and scientific research in different engineering science specialties’ such as; electrical engineering, electronic, automatics, data science and artificial intelligence. ISSIG
Institut Supérieur des Systèmes Industriels Higher Institute of Industrial Systems of Gabes (ISSIG) is a HEI belonging to the University of Gabes, Tunisia. It will exploit the following initiatives, to create synergies that enhance the impact of the CobotsVETMed project, leveraging existing resources and networks to advance collaborative robotics training in Tunisia.
AMTA Academy
AMTA Academy is a private vocational training institute in Tunisia, is already involved in national and local projects that align with the core themes of robotics, AI, digital transformation, and vocational education, providing opportunities for creating synergies and enhancing the project’s impact. AMTA collaborates with local organizations such as First Skills, which has won international championships in robotics (Greece, USA), focusing on enhancing the technical capabilities of students and professionals in robotics and AI, complementing the Erasmus+ CBVET project’s training goals. The Academy’s experience with robotics competitions helps create practical, hands-on experiences for learners.
