Advancing Green Robotics Skills through Virtual Cobot Training and e-Learning
Green Digital Skills
The training aims to equip VET providers with the resources and expertise to deliver cutting-edge green digital skills training in robotics, focusing on cobot applications relevant to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). In other to reduce waste and minimise environmental impact, the training will be performed in a virtual environment, which will also allow learners to experiment with different cobot configurations and processes without the need for physical prototypes or real-world resources.
Building Capacity for Sustainable Cobot Education
Through targeted capacity building, virtual cobot training scenarios, train-the-trainer programmes, and the Smart Step e-learning platform, the project equips VET educators with innovative tools, international best practices, and digital solutions to deliver high-quality, Industry 4.0-ready training in a collaborative and sustainable learning environment.
Capacity Building
Professional development programs for trainers will be implemented, with an emphasis on international best practices and innovative teaching methods.
Cobots
The development of virtual learning scenarios, providing hands-on experience with cobot programming and operation in a safe and accessible environment.
Train-the-trainer
The provision of train-the-trainer programs, ensuring that VET instructors are equipped with the latest knowledge and pedagogical skills to effectively deliver the curriculum.
Smart Step Platform
The utilisation of e-Learning platform to track student progress, and facilitate communication and collaboration among students, instructors, and industry mentors, promoting transparency and accountability
