Iceberg (ICE) takes the lead as the coordinator of the CobotsVETMed Project. Headquartered in Romania, ICE is a specialised consultancy firm with a focus on digitalisation, innovation, and technology transfer.
With 14 years of market presence, ICE holds the designation of Romanian EIT Local Desk — a role that, as of 2025, spans all EIT verticals across the region. The organisation brings a distinguished track record, having spearheaded the establishment of three successful Romanian Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) within the European DIH Network, and having delivered targeted technical assistance to multiple DIHs across diverse geographies, including Bosnia-Herzegovina in the Balkans and Nigeria in West Africa.
An important asset Iceberg brings to the CobotsVETMed consortium is a multidisciplinary team of professionals with experience in Erasmus+ project management and technology design. These capabilities are instrumental in reshaping cobot technologies into meaningful classroom experiences.
This team includes:
Irina Floarea Saghin, a PhD holder in Regional Development and a degree in Environmental Sciences. She has over 13 years of experience in national and European-funded projects, including ICP PSP, Horizon 2020 ERANET, ESPON, ERASMUS+, and the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund. She is responsible for stakeholder engagement, partnership coordination, and strategic alignment of project activities. Her experience in European projects and digital innovation ecosystems supports effective collaboration and contributes valuable insights into management and international cooperation.
Loredana Gavrilescu; a Deep Tech Consultant and ICE Technical Expert 2, with expertise in artificial intelligence, technology research, and innovation projects. As a Senior Consultant at Iceberg Plus, she specialises in Smart City and Digital Twin initiatives, and will ensure the effective implementation of technological components and supports the project’s technical direction, while facilitating collaboration among stakeholders involved in research and innovation activities. Anca Ilie is a Financial Expert specialise in financial management, risk control, and EU-funded project consultancy. Her background includes roles such as risk director and financial consultant, giving her strong expertise in compliance and financial oversight. Anca Ilie is responsible for supervising the project’s financial management, ensuring compliance with grant agreements, and leading the financial reporting process. She oversees budget allocation, financial monitoring, and amendments, while coordinating financial responsibilities across partner organizations to ensure transparency, sustainability, and cost efficiency.
